Reflections Pt I ~ A community service for cutting carbon

By taking simple measures, communities can cut their carbon foot print. The first step may be a very small, simple one. The trick is to build upon each step, providing a succession of further steps, until the whole community finds that it is on a journey to zero-carbon living.

GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGNS

I have a special interest in the dynamics of grassroots participation.

I help campaigns tailor messages for different ‘audiences’ and authentic citizen participation.

I’m interested in co-design as a way to encourage participation, collaboration as a means of extending the boundaries of outreach and the fundamental importance of place and how it connects people.

What happened to Sharpening Pencils?

If you think something’s a bit different, you’re right. We’re still the same writing agency – Sharpening Pencils, founded in 2010 – but we are now called Rachel’s Pencils.
